| I established my business in the suburbs of Detroit, where I shared a 4000 square foot studio shooting products, people and some food now and then. One time when I was setting up the "next shot" at two in the morning I realized that the sun never sets in the studio. With that in mind I started to shoot more location work and began to travel to the west coast many times a year. I grew to love the wonderful terrain and magical light of California. Since 2000 I have been based in Los Angeles, specializing in location automotive photography. I’ve shot jobs from Hawaii to Havana and from Moab to Miami. I have clients in LA, Tennessee, Europe, as well as my old hometown, Detroit. I have found California to be a unique place for photography, it’s a land where the sun rises in the desert and sets in the sea. |
